Janis and I had Jay use his product to repair concrete at our farm. One of the repairs that extremely impressed me was a large concrete step at the entrance to our house. It was so bad that the rebar was exposed to the elements. Jay made several concrete repairs to our property and even though it was years ago it still looks like new.

I own and operate a ready mix concrete and concrete construction business. We have been in business since 1972 .

Over the last few years I have worked with Jay Atchison on several projects. Last spring I was called to replace a lot of bad concrete at the Osborne County Court House. The sidewalks, steps, slabs, etc. had been heavily salted and were in dire need. I informed them of the high cost to tear out and replace this concrete. Some of it was 2 stories high. I told them about Jay’s superb mixture that would fix it. I also explained how this mixture would save them money and decrease the amount of down-time.

Jay and I fixed their concrete problems. They are extremely happy with the completed project and have not had any problems the repairs were made.

I have seen many of his finished projects including bridges, driveways, sidewalks, and porches. I have also helped with several. They are all holding up very well.

Jay has come up with an interesting blend of Portland Proprietary Ingredients, and aggregates to form an overlayment that is a bit more unique than the rest on the market. The overlayment can be power-troweled which in and of itself is not typical of most overlayments. The mixture dries to a very hard and durable surface and can be used over any concrete surface that is in need repair or rejuvenation. Jay has also used is product as an admixture to various cement-based products to improve their qualities. I think you’ ll be very pleased with the results you achieve when using this product.

In 2013, our church (First Congregational of Athol, KS) needed repair work on the foundation and basement. We chose Jay and his Magic Mud to repair it. The church was built in 1928; consequently, the fine sand that was used in the concrete was flaking off-in some places we needed to build it out by applying seven layers or more and letting it cure between each layer. Along with the foundation work, Jay also used his Magic Mud to repair our front steps and install new windows. It has been four years since Jay applied his Magic Mud-and it is holding as well as the day it was applied .

This endorsement is for Jay Atchison’s new “Magic Mud” product. It’s being done in order to give a testimonial as to what it is able to do. Although it is new to the market, Jay has been using it in test applications for several years in our area. I would like to briefly comment on two specific applications in which I was personally involved.

The first was an application of his product to a very cracked, pitted sidewalk at my tax office. I honestly thought the sidewalk needed to be removed and replaced, but Jay’s mixture not only restored it to a useable condition, but the cracking and pitting has stopped. It must have been one of his earliest applications, because it has been almost nine years since Jay applied the coating!

The other experience I have personally had with Jay’s Magic Mud mixture is on our Lutheran Church sidewalk, which was experiencing the same sort of problems that my tax office was having. I was on the Church council at the time, and we were contemplating removal of the sidewalks that was poured in 1965. We were looking at a projected cost of about $15,000-$20,000 if my memory serves me correctly. Jay may have given us a break since we were a church, but his total bill was was only around $2000, as we had one of our church members assist him in the application. This project took place 5+ years ago, and is still holding up very well.
